This book introducesd and organizesd 20 volumes of Kyongni Park’s novel Toji, which contains more than 40,000 pages of 200-character manuscripts, into one volume based on the spaces in the novel. The story begins in Pyengsari, Gyeongsangnam-do, and expands to Jinju, Tongyeong, Busan, Masan, Seoul, Japan, Yongjeong, and Yeonhaejoo along the character’s journeys. In other words, it is a spatial version of Toji that divides into ten spaces based on the novel’s sites.
This book serves as a refresher for those who have already read the novel and showcases the vastness of the story to those who have not read it, or only know it as a drama.
