Reflections upon the Mobility Paradigm

Stillness and movement, constancy and change, settlement and nomadic life, residence and wandering… Do these concepts really contradict each other?
In an era that opposes the tradition of sedentarism and sheds light on the potential of nomadism, 《Mobility, from Being to Value》 discusses the ontology and value theory of mobility as the basis of humanities beyond the new dichotomy of sedentarism and nomadism.
Part 1 “The Existence of Mobility” theoretically explores the problem of mobility ontology and space and time, which are the main concepts of mobility research. Part 2 and Part 3 address matters related to the ethics of mobility and mobility justice in terms of the dimension of value theory. This book argues that mobility ontology and mobility value theory are closely interrelated; and that mobility value theory, for its own development, must explore mobility ontology at a fundamental level.
