Co-evolution of Dance Movement and Technology

Since when have we used the term ‘dance’? What is the scope of Korean dance? By examining the evolution of Korean dance, the book proposes a new perspective that Korean dance resonates in the constant harmony between nature and culture, art and technology, and individuals and society. Of course, capturing abstract and variable dances by era is difficult. Therefore, this book tries to approach this goal by re-examining the evolution of dance with tools. This book observes the process of Korean dance, showcasing that body movement and technology are connected through the skills, methods, and abilities that have transformed into artwork by applying the tools used to express body movements more effectively.
