It is with the greatest admiration that we offer our congratulations on your accomplishment in establishing a magnificent industrial facility to assemble ‘Jeep’ vehicles in Chu Rae, Korea.
The industrial achievement represented by construction of the modern facility, the newest venture of Shin Jin Motor Company, is a source of pride to the Republic of Korea, a pride shared by American Motors, the parent company of Jeep Corporation. By any standard of modern vehicle production, the plant’s design and operation are impressive and represent the highest degree and application of advanced technology.
As a licensee for ‘Jeep’ vehicles, Shin Jin Motor has a facility capable of producing 500 ‘Jeep’ Cj-5 Universal vehicles a month, which should provide an important stimulus in helping advance the commercial and agricultural economy of Korea.
American Motors, which will continue to provide technical assistance as required by Shin Jin, is pleased to be able to play small part in an endeavor that will strengthen Korea’s expanding position in world industry.
