The Journal of Mobility Humanities publishes high-quality research articles in the broad field of mobility humanities. The latest issues in this journal was published on Jan 31.
Mobility Humanities (3.1) carries ten articles, an interview with Noel B. Salazar, and a book review. It also has a Special Issue section on “Mobility, Infrastructure, and the Humanities,” guest edited by Peter Adey, Jinhyoung Lee, Giada Peterle, and Tania Rossetto.

In the Special Guest Lecture, Professor Thiago Allis will discuss contemporary tourism issues from the perspective of mobility humanities.

In this research they are looking at the female pilot career journey within the civil aviation industry to understand the difficulties and barriers a woman faces and surpasses before, during, and after becoming a pilot.
The Academy of Mobility Humanities at Konkuk University (Director: Inseop Shin) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Southeast Asian Media Studies Association (SEAMSA) to further collaborative research of mobility humanities with scholars from Southeast Asia.
SEAMSA, a member of the Asia Mobility Humanities Network established by the AMH, is a non-profit online-based society composed of media researchers and practitioners primarily in Southeast Asian countries such as East Timor, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Brunei, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines. They publish the international academic journal, The Southeast Asian Studies Journal.
In Mobility Humanities Colloquium #33, Professor Lee(Incheon National University) will deal with the Smartphone as a condition of life from the perspective of a media ecological mediation.
The Academy of Mobility Humanities, WITH Humanities Project (Director: Jooyoung Kim) of Konkuk University has concluded the graduation ceremony for the “2023 Seoul City’s Hope Humanities” at the multi-purpose hall at Seoul City Hall on the 21st of November. The Mayor of Seoul, Sehoon Oh, Konkuk University President, YoungJae Jeon, the University of Seoul President, Yonggeol Won, alongside other officials and approximately 150 graduates from the Happiness Programme (university) and the Hope Program (Facility), attended this event.
The Hope Humanities, started in 2008 and resumed in 2022, is a programme for helping vulnerable members of our society, such as people without housing and low-income individuals, to regain self-esteem and independence with a new perspective on the world. This year, 739 individuals participated, with 592 receiving certificates upon completion. The Happiness Program, by the WITH Humanities Project of the Academy of Mobility Humanities at Konkuk University, had around 60 participants; among them, 50 (83.3%) completed the programme.
